Our historic office building , located on the corner of Madison Road and Stewart Avenue, is a landmark in the Madisonville community and part of the Madison-Stewart Historic District on the National Historic Register. The house was built in 1861 by Scottish immigrant L.C. Weir, who then sold it to Dr. and Mrs. George Dart. Dr. Dart was a Methodist Minister. They had 3 children who all lived in the house until they died in 1952 at which time the property was turned over to the Methodist Church as stipulated in their wills.
From 1952 until 1978 the house was owned by the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church and the First Free Methodist Church of Cincinnati.
In 1978 the house was purchased by New Life Properties and was operated as a group home and office space for Lighthouse Youth Services. I & Eye purchased the building in 2006.
